Appraisals

Our experienced craftsmen can appraise a wide range of items, including loose diamonds, gemstones, estate jewellery, antique pieces, and new jewellery. Each appraisal includes professional cleaning, detailed photography, and a computer-prepared document with photographs for your records.

All new pieces purchased through International Gems include a complimentary appraisal for insurance purposes.

Estate Jewellery

International Gems has extensive experience in the sale of estate and antique jewellery. We offer three main channels for selling estate pieces:

• Auctions
• Our in-store estate department
• Our purchasing department

Our team will create a suitable agreement to handle your pieces professionally, and all work is guaranteed.

Insurance Claims

Our AGS/GIA-trained consultants work closely with both clients and insurance adjusters to determine accurate replacement values and provide detailed claims reports that meet insurance standards and requirements.

Our workshop is professionally equipped to reproduce or replace pieces in precious metals using skilled hand craftsmanship and expert in-house techniques.

Jewellery & Watch Repairs

Our in-house craftsmen complete a wide range of jewellery and watch repairs, including:

• Re-tipping
• Chain soldering
• Watch restoration
• Watch case refinishing
• General jewellery and watch repairs

We can restore worn, damaged, or broken pieces to a like-new condition and repair virtually any type of metal. When necessary, parts can be sourced through trusted suppliers or custom made with customer approval.
